Beauty In Blue Artistic Weekend Retreat
hosted by the talented and lovely
This all-inclusive retreat will be a small intimate gathering
"deep in the heart of Texas!"
It will be a celebration of Spring and the arrival of the beautiful Texas state flower, the Blue Bonnet.
I am very honored that Karen has asked me to be one of the instructors for her Beauty event.
I LOVE Karen's idea for this small intimate gathering.
The home away from home will be held at the charming Whitworth Ranch Retreat located 50 miles from Dallas.
The ranch home was built in the late 1800's and the rooms are decorated in the prettiest soft shabby pale colors.
The Pink Parfait Room
The ranch is the perfect place for us girls to have a "grown up" slumber party
while crafting and creating projects in beautiful shades of blues, creams and whites.
Here is a little info I would love to share with you regarding the instructors and project line up.
The wonderful Hostess.
The lovely sweet & talented
Little ole me....

Ooooh, Jen!!! I am positively giddy!!! I just signed up! I live in a suburb of Fort Worth, so this trip will be very manageable for me! I am very artsy craftsy, and I cannot wait to participate and learn from "masters" such as you! I remember not so long ago suggesting that you consider having an art event in Texas. Then you post about this one being held by Karen Hillman, and you say you are going to head up one of the projects! I can't wait to meet you and the other ladies and to be immersed in the fun, wonderful atmosphere. Pardon my overuse of exclamation marks, but I am floating on air! I have never attended an art weekend. As soon as I saw your post, I called my hubby, and sweet, supportive man that he is--he wanted me to go for it. I'd better stop now before I hyperventilate. Ha! ; )

Sounds like a great event Jenn. Your photos are so pretty. I just did a post about Canton today. Cindy & I went last Friday. It was a lot of fun. Went by to see Cathy of Girls Gone Junkin (& sand Happy Birthday to her). SUCH A GREAT GROUP OF GALS THERE! I know you'll have a blast! HUGS!

You will have a blast! Make sure you shop the fields in Canton. I am very familiar with Junk girls, and often run into one while I'm at a garage sale. You will love your time in TX, as long as the 100 degree weather doesn't decide to hit early next year!
