I just returned home from the one of the most *AMAZING* weekends in sunny CA!
The lovely hostess Kim Caldwell hosted another one of her incredible events held in Manhattan Beach at the Belmar Hotel. It was a beautiful venue and location spot!
Kim's attention to detail never seems to amaze me. She created a soothing and calming beachy mermaid atmosphere for us all.
The decor was nothing but exquisite!
I had the most fun hanging out with my beautiful and fun loving girlfriends and roomies!
Me & my big Sis Jessi
The darling & talented Miss Christine
The event kicked off with vendor night. I was a first time vendor. Whoo-hoo! I had so much fun setting up for the big night. I think mine was the only pink and blue froofy table. You couldn't miss it. hee! hee!
These are a few yummy things I made for vendor night.
Sweet Beachy Bottles
Miss Jessi was my right hand helper at Vendor night.
A few of my favorite vendor shots and pretties.
Can you guess who the doll belongs too? Yep, Miss Dollybelle!
This adorable little mermaid belongs to me now! YAY! She is adorned on a beautiful shell ship. I will show more pics when it arrives.
The projects were all so amazing!
Miss Holly taught us how to make a mermaid pillow.
Im Jenny Hernandez class we made these adorable little mermaids.
This tiny one is Karla's. My cutie is being shipped home right now.
Pretty treasures to create with
Aren't these red starfish divine!
In Julie Haymakers class we made these darling headbands using beads and pins.
This was the class example. So pretty!
Melissa Phillips class we made beautiful Summer Bliss Keepsake Albums.
This is my cover.
I had a fantastic time hanging out with old mermaid friends and new!
Queen Mermaid Sherry and Cathy!
Their costumes turned out over the top fab!

During a sit down luncheon we had the wonderful honor of hearing Jenny Doh speak about Art Saves.
She was such an inspiration to us all.
A few photos from our table at the luncheon.
Couldn't resist a little champagne at lunch.
There were some incredible swaps that were hosted.
I signed up for Jessi's altered bottle swap, and Karla was my partner.
I know Karla loves pink and cream and little fairies, so I made her this darling bottle.
Tee! hee! So cute!
Karla made me a pretty blue altered bottle. The little bisque doll mermaid was precious!
Karla and I with our beautiful bottles.
The other swap was a decorated mermaid treasure box which was was hosted by the lovely Valerie Jones.
We had secret swap partners and my treasure box was for Miss Cynthia Flores.
Cynthia loves color so I had a ball making this vibrant piece for her.
I received my treasure box from Joy Campbell. I don't have photos of it yet, because it's in a box being shipped home. However, I look forward to sharing it with you. It's stunning and filled with beautiful pink sweet treats!
Our last day in CA we hit the road on a large passenger bus and spent the day at Long Beach Flea Market and downtown historic O.C. for some shopping!
Whoo-hoo!!
My next post I will have a little show and tell of all the FAB goodies I *SCORED* at the Flea Market. YIPPEE!!
While walking around and shopping Jessi, Christine, and I discovered a vintage mint condition VW van. So cute and fun! A photo op for sure!
Christine looks the best with her boho hippie outfit. lol!
The last stop of the afternoon was at The Perfect Circle Cupcakery.
Valerie and Cynthia were both so thoughtful enough to host a cupcake party for us ladies.
Chilling out and chatting
This was the PERFECT way to end a PERFECT weekend!!!
Thank you SOOO much Miss Kim for your gracious hospitality. You went above and beyond to make this another incredibly special and unforgettable event for us all!
I will cherish these wonderful and fun memories!

What a fun looking event. It reminds me of the Petticoats one you put on in the Spring. I would just love to go to one of those! Everyone looked so pretty all dressed up! Look at you right down to your toe nails matched!! Love the tiered skirt! And Cynthias dress was amazing too! Love the bottles all done up in your own unique style. The glass blown bowls on the wall behind looked awesome too. What I really loved was the colour scheme of the Cupcake Shop. What a beautiful combination of black, white, and Tiffany Blue! It really looks great together. Now that's got me thinking of re doing my bathroom!! LOL!! Great post I just loved all the pretty pictures!! Have a wonderful weekend!!
