Petticoats & Parasols has come and gone like Gone With The Wind. These beautiful southern belles have filled my my heart with friendship, love, and special memories of a weekend that I will truly never forget.
The event kicked off Thursday night with a Welcome Southern Belle Soiree Party.
Handmade packets with weekend details, maps, and "must see" places were included.
Pretty Magnolias graced the tables.
Rosalyn-Sue hosted a fabulous gift swap. She designed and made the bags for the ladies. They turned out so pretty!
Rosalyn-Sue also WOWED us with the Southern Sugar Bar that she created for us all to enjoy. All the ladies had a grab bag and could scoop up candy to take back to their room and enjoy. She had mini dessert plates of pies and cakes. We were all in sweet tooth heaven!!!
Candies and desserts....oh my!!!
Miss Christine posing at the Sugar Bar!
We kicked off the night with yummy Peach Martinis! They were a hit with the ladies!
Some great captures of the ladies.
After dinner we had the fabulous honor of hearing Jo Packham speak and sign books for the ladies.
We ended the night by changing into some casual clothes and boarding the Old Savannah trolley for a nightly ghost tour.
One of the houses that was super haunted had several orbs. All the ladies including I, were snapping up photos of the Davenport house to see the "spiritual" orbs. Can you see the round blobs? Pretty neat!
Fun & giggles!
We had a ball kicking off the event!
Lots more to come....please come back ya'll.
Southern hugs & kisses,

Sweet Jenn,
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for one of the most delightful experiences of my life. You had an idea and turned it into the perfect reality for a weekend filled, with laughter, friendship, fun and creativity. It was over the top PERFECT in every way for me. From the cupcakes to the parasols, I loved it all.
I was feeling a little strange when I was in Savannah. Not quite as talkative as my usual self. I thought it was allergies, but I woke up this morning with a terrible head cold and no voice! Go figure! Who knew!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for the best time ever Jenn. I can't wait for your next adventure. I know I will be there with bells on! YOU GO SWEET GIRL AND MAKE YOUR DREAMS A REALITY FOR THOSE WHO LOVE YOU.

You did a fansatic job!! I wasn't able to attend becasue I was attending a Beth Moore conference, a Christian Woman's speaker, in Atlanta, GA but thought about the event all weekend and checked from Sunday on on the blog for pictures! Your blog is very inspirational! I am only 23, younger than most of your readers I think, but my friends and I love your blog and your ideas! Can't wait to see more pictures from Petticoats and Parasols!

Jenn -
I just KNEW it would fabulous and I was right. Down to every last little detail. Your 2 fabulous instructors Christine and Tiffany, and of course Jo! CAnnot forget Rosalyn Sue and she is in my thoughts and prayers.
I wish you could've relaxed more and enjoyed it along with the rest of us. But you were busy making it a memorable occasion for all of us and I was thrilled to be included. A wonderful, wonderful time.
And so I want to thank you - really thank you . . . for just a great weekend.
Much love and hugs! Karen
