that was so lovely Jenn- first the tree - i have never seen so many lights - we have one delivered to trafalgar square in London every christmas - it is a thank you present from Norway for all our help and efforts during the 2 World War - imagine all those years of christmas trees :-) - but not half as many lights as you have on that beautiful tree.

So lovely for you to have met up with a fellow blogger - well you know you are famous :-)

thank you for sharing - how did the candle light tour of the christmas homes go ?

best wishes always Ginny xx

Sounds like a weekend in Heaven! Oh I LOVE New York City at Christmas. It has been YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I have always dreamed of going to Tinsle Trading Co. I didn't know about them when I was there so long ago. I can feel a girls trip in the making. I would have done serious dammage. Thank you for sharing you photos. We can dream of being there through the pictures. That tree was wonderful!!!! And IT CAN GET COLD THERE. I remember standing in line for FAO Schwartz & thinking I would freeze. We southern gals aren't used to that kind of cold. Charlene

I live 1 hr outside of NYC & to see the Rock Center (thats what the kids say!) tree never gets old! One year I did my daughters Christmas pic in front of that tree (flanked by all the angels w/the trumpets!)..we love to visit! You got some great pics..Glad you enjoyed your trip!
P.S. I have yet to visit Tinsel..one of these days!

Your pics of New York are so beautiful! The Rockefeller Center never looked better. And Tinsel Trading....OMG! I'm having a tizzy! Some day I must shop there. I know I could help them reduce their inventory a bit!

Merry Christmas!

Hi Jenn,
Thanks for taking us along on your NY City trip! I really enjoyed myself. Your photos were wonderful and what fun to meet another designer. A few years ago my hubby and I drove into NY City for the day - we can do that living near Philly - to see the Rockettes' Christmas Spectacular Show. One of these days I would like to stay over night and see a Broadway show with hubby. Back in the 1980s while on a long business trip (of several weeks) I was able to see two Broadway shows including "The King & I" with Yul Brynner and another play with Richard Chamberlain. Your yuletime video was funny - I bet your kids really enjoyed watching it.

What a neat trip! Loved that store!!! Wow! My youngest son worked at ESPN Zone in Times Square. We never did go and visit while he lived there, as he would have been the perfect tour guide. I was only in NYC once, as a child. When my Hubby and I go, I'll be sure to check that fantastic store out!

Jenn, I love seeing your trip to NYC. I wish I could go every year at Christmas time. One of the shops on 5Th Ave. had their windows decorated completely out of chocolate. I have pictures somewhere and it was so amazing I wanted to go in and grab a bite-lol. Next trip, if your DH needs golfing attire, please visit NikiTown on 57Th next to Trump Towers, you may run into my son if he is in town. Now I will have to check out the Tinsel store when I go back$$$$$$$$$$$$ or have Donnie check things out for me. Thanks for sharing your trip with us. NYC is so beautiful this time of year. Hugs and a Very Merry and Blesed Christmas. Love your Elf Yourself. Pat
