Hello my sweet friends! It's here! I just received my copy of Country Living Magazine in the mail today and SILVER BELLA is featured in it!!!!! What a beautiful and visually stunning article! The Queen Miss Foof-a-La Teresa host this AMAZING YOU MUST BE THERE yearly event! I attended last year and had the MOST FUN weekend of my life!!!!
The spread is so pretty and truly captures what the whole weekend is about. Yours truly (hee! hee!) is pictured in the froofy pink and cowboy hat shopping at the vendor faire.
I am SOOOO thrilled to be attending again this year and CANNOT wait to meet so many gals with whom I've had the wonderful opportunity to grow very close to thru our blogging community!
We gals, Fall has FINALLY arrived in the deep south! Cooler temps, leaves starting to slowly change, and the State Fair in town is a true sign that Fall is here!!!
Hubby and I took the kiddies to the State Fair this past weekend and the kids had a BALL! We got to the fair early before it got super crowded and it worked out perfect! It was a bit overcast, but we didnt let it dampen our spirits!
There is something about going to the fair that is so nostalgic. I remember in high school it was a big deal to get a whole group of your high school friends and go at night. I remember the chilly nights, bright colored blinking flashing lights, sounds of games, rides, screams and laughter!
The best part of the fair is the YUMMY food! Food that I only eat when Im at the fair. Funnel cakes, caramel apples, corn dogs, cotton candy, and fried OREOS. "Yes!" I said right. FRIED OREO COOKIES!!!
I WISH I could have this exact sign hanging in my studio. Flashing lights and ALL!
I took some cute and fun shots of the kids that I'd love to share with ya!
The smirk on Grant's face is a hoot!
Hubby and the kids
Jordan and Grant on the kiddie roller coaster.
Grant in his race car.
YUM!!!!!!!! Corndog!!!!
Daddy and Vivi on the Flying Elephant ride.
After the rides and a little lunch we took time out for the petting zoo.
The face on this llama just cracks me up! Those teeth!
This shot is such a HOOT! The goats must be use to having their pictures taken. They pose so well! hee! hee! Jeez. I wish I knew how to photoshop the guy out of the picture. LOL!!
Thanks for stopping by my friends! Hope you are all enjoying the beautiful fall weather and gearing up for Halloween. We are shopping for costumes this week! ;)
Adorable fair pictures! ~Mandy

Your photos are terrific and it looked like a fun time. Look at the baby eating a corn dog-she's something. : )
I was just going through my almost 22 yr old son's photos for Halloween pictures. Found similar shots of him with animals. Boy does the time fly.

Jenn, you made me hungry for Cotton Candy, so we have the International Rice Festival this weekend, so gonna grab some. First time I won't have a booth, so it will be fun seeing instead of selling. Great pics and looks like you all had a great time.
Another question for you. I have seen so many people use gathered crepe paper for edge trimming and how do you keep it from getting wet and running? I think I may stick with some lace or tulle, but have lots of crepe paper, but so afraid to put that much work into something for it to get wet and bleed. Any help would be appreciated. I have got to use my bling and all the rest of the goodies I got from mom's craft shop. Hugs, Pat
