Hello my lovely friends! I feel like Im SOOOO late blogging and posting pics of the OH SO FABULOUS swap that was hosted by the super sweet Miss Heather of Pretty Petals. I guess better late than never! hee! hee!

No time to waste! Onto the YUMMY eye candy!!!!!! My swap partner was Miss Analise of SUGAR*SUGAR. Heather did an OUTSTANDING job pairing us girls up with one another. We both LOVE the exact same things. I just knew I was going to have TONS of fun shopping and collecting little pretties for her!

The idea was to fill a "trunk" of sweet beautiful treasures. This was the trunk that I decided to use. This is my BEFORE picture.

I about DIED when I unwrapped this delicate & BEAUTIFUL embroidered pillowcase. It will look precious on Miss Vivi's "big girl" bed!

DARLING Vintage Games!

Look at this SUPER CUTE Cupcake kit! The packaging is DARLING!!!!

Talk about a *SUGAR HIGH* Im dizzy from all the SWEETNESS she sent me! Thank you soooooooooooooooo MUCH Heather! I cant WAIT to use all my goodies for Grant & Vivi's birthday party!!!

I CANT resist showing you this next picture that I took today. My son TOTALLY takes after me. Im a HUGE chocolate lover! I literally have to have at least a small piece of chocolate a day. Hence the gumball machine in my kitchen full of peanut M&M's. Anyhoo, I bought the small single cups of chocolate ice cream for my son to have as a special treat. This afternoon he sits at his little table in the kitchen to enjoy his ice cream. Meanwhile, Mommy is busy surfing the net and Flickr. :) All of a sudden I look up from my computer to see this little dirty boy covered in chocolate!

I could NOT resist but to bust out laughing!!! This is what I LOVE about children!!!

This is a Tell-Tale sign that he enjoyed his ice cream! ;)

This past weekend was the Historic Macon Party of the Year which is an annual black tie event that we've attended the past three years . I invited my close girlfriend Heather to join us for a night of getting "dolled" up, sip champagne, eat yummy hor dourves,mingle and dance the night away. These are a few pics before we hit the town!

I usually wear a long gown to these events, but I found this gorgeous pale pink dress and just had to have it. I felt like a retro 50's gal wearing this dress. I was told that SEVERAL times throughout the night.

FALL...FRILLS....FOOTBALL...& FRIENDS!!!!!

HAPPY FALL LADIES!!!! I hope you are all ready for a LONG post! I have LOTS to share with you all. Grab a cuppa and comfy chair. :)

My first topic of the day is FALL!!!!!!!!!!! WOW! I can already feel the temprature drop and the humidty FINALLY leave us slowly. Which means BETTER hair days for me! LOL!!! Ok...After reading my Oct issue of Country Living magazine yesterday I was TOTALLY inspired to get off my butt and decorate my home for Fall. Not many of you know, but Im having surgery tomorrow (Tues), and my recovery will be pretty long. No heavy lifting for 12 weeks. EEK! That includes my KIDS!!! AAAuughh! Anyhoo, so I knew that I needed to drag out all my decor from the basement and get busy while I had the energy. Thank heavens I did. Im thrilled with how my kitchen turned out. Warm, cozy, and oozing with Fall and Halloween spirits! You will see several pics of my Department 56 Halloween Villages that I've been collecting for 6 years now. What you will see is only HALF of what I own. I usually set up a HUGE display in the front window of my Living Room for all the kiddie poos to see, however it takes DAYS to set the whole village up. Well, I dont have that much time, so I pulled out a few of my favorite pieces and displayed them on my kitchen countertops.

This is Miss Odelette the Calico Kitty. She is handmade by the FABULOUS artist Jennifer Docherty. Odelette is sooo sweet and is wearing the puuurfect Fall wardrobe. I just had to show her off on this pumpkin. :)

Now it's time for a little "Show & Tell". I just recieved my packges from SUPER SWEET Lori aka Miss Faeriewindow, and I did a swap with the FABULOUS Miss Natasha Burns . I wanted to show you all where I displayed my sweet new treasures.

This is called "A sweet life" by Lori. This sweet and whimsical creation is displayed on the fireplace mantel.

Natasha made this ADORABLE Cupcake Fairy jar. Isn't she just too sweet???

Last but not least, here is the BEAUTIFUL plaque that Natasha made for Vivian.

HANG IN THERE!!!! Im still not done posting. hee! hee! I wanted to post some pics of this past weekend of my hubby and I with a group of our friends attending the UGA football game. DOGS WON!!! WHOO-HOO!!! Deidra and her hubby own box seats so we were able to watch the game in style! We had a blast!

Last BUT not least!!!!! I am truly OVERWHELMED at the comments that soooooo many of you left last week regarding "What I love about my home".  I cant THANK YOU all enough for the SUPER KIND comments. They mean the world to me!!! In turn, I thought it would be fun and giggles to show the "REAL" home when it's not all "fru-fru'd" up for the magazines and camera. My art room is my dining room. Once we adopted Vivian, my little studio became her nursery. So, the only place for my supplies was the dining room. This is what it looks like TODAY. BTW....I am NOT organized! I work in chaos & messes. Things are EVERYWHERE. Dont laugh to hard!!!

HOPEFULLY, one day in the near future when my hubby and I deciede to move I will have my own studio and plenty of working space to keep everything nice and neat. :) HA! HA! Yea right!!! :)

Ok my sweet friends. I will be out of touch for the next few days, but starting next week while Im taking it easy at home I will be BUSY, BUSY, BUSY, working on my creations. Im sooo anxious to fill my orders and make some new goodies to share with you all. :) XOXO,Jenn   

September Show & Tell

Hello My fellow blogging gal pals. Hope you are all enjoying the last days of summer. This weekend my hubby has been out of town, so I've been "flying" solo with the kiddie poos. My dearest and closest friend Sonya (Grant's godmother), and her two year old daughter Kate drove down from Atlanta for a playdate. I took tons of pictures but I just had to show off these two precious pictures. As you all know with children it sometimes take 50 tries to get the perfect shot. Well with three little ones this is the best shot I could get of the group. :)

This next picture just melts my heart. My girlfriend and I laugh because our two children Grant and Kate have known it each other since they were babies, and we always dream that one day the two of them would be sweethearts and marry. My son is obviously starting very early. This truly is ONE of the several kisses he tried to give Miss Kate.

Now the good stuff......................

I've been on a bit of a shopping spree lately. :) Where I use to spend my money on designer handbags, shoes, clothes, etc....Well, not anymore!!!! I just LOVE,LOVE,LOVE, collecting and buying the most sweetest and fabulous art creations. I just love filling my home with beautiful handmade treasures that always brings a warm smile to my face.

This first piece is created from the adorable and talented Miss Lori aka Faerie Window. As soon as I laid eyes on this PRECIOUS little faerie I just had to have her. Lori is the biggest sweetheart and Im soo fortunate to have made friends with her, and discover her DARLING creations.

Here it is in Vivi's room. It's hanging off of the glass door knob of her cabinet.   

This next BEYOND adorable handmade creation is made with love from my dearest sweetest friend Cheryl of Rosey Posey Confections. This is a Doll fabric keepsake book. It was handmade using the most beautiful Rachel Ashwell fabric. Cheryl embroideredd Vivians name on the inside,and It sits on her bedside table. Where it looks just PERFECT!!!This will be something that Vivian has for the rest of her life and can put her small dolls, birthday cards, letters, and tiny treasured keepsakes safe inside. :)

My last show & tell is this OVER THE TOP yummy & dreamy creation!!!! I discovered Liz and her FABULOUS paper artwork on Flickr. I emailed her inquiring about her work. She had to told me that she only created for Family and Friends. Well, I emailed her back and begged her to make me something. I just had to own a piece of her work. Well, I got my wish, and I am her FIRST paying customer! WHOO-HOO! I told her I wanted my favorite eye candy colors with bunnies, and a ballerina. When I received and opened my package it felt like Christmas and I was opening it as fast as I could. I couldn't wait to see it. As soon as I opened it, my mouth hung wide open and my eyes were BIG as saucers!!!! This was a VISUAL DELIGHT!!!! It is TO DIE FOR SWEET!!!!

Liz has now decided to open up an Etsy shop and start creating and selling her work. I am sooo excited for her! Please keep your "peepers" wide open for her listings. I look forward to seeing more of her whimsical and beautiful creations!
