Dainty, small and sweet best describes Forget me Knots. These little delicate flowers represent true love, hope, remembrance, and memories.
They've adorned everything from millinery hats to vintage dresses.
This is a sweet powder blue vintage children's dress I recently found. It's been well loved and worn.
The dress had a tulle netting overlay with pale pink velvet bows and tiny forget me knots. So sweet!
Most of the vintage forget me knots were made of velvet.
The back of the dress is just as gorgeous as the front.
Isn't it funny how a small simple itty flower can make you smile?
Wanna see what else makes me smile??? This pink poodle that I could not resist! The owner of he shop gave me too good of a deal to pass up!
Here's to wishing you a wonderful week of the littlest simple things that make you "SMILE".
Have a wonderful week! We are headed to Disney to celebrate Vivian's 3rd birthday! See ya when I get back!

Wow! You're right! A little flower does make me smile-I smiled through this whole post. Thanks for sharing the details of that dress with us!
Have fun in Disneyland!
((hugs))

Happy Birthday to you and your little ones Jenn.
Your blog is such eye candy. You named your blog so appropriately.
That dress that dress that cover girl drees... lalalalal beautiful. Thos cute valentine heart boxes, so so pretty. That precious one ear up one ear down bunny adorable. I used to rescue Rabbits. We had a Sugarplum and a Cinnabun. They were great little fur babies. Thanks to your friend for rescuing that precious doggy. He looks a lot like my Lucky. I love people that have a big heart for stray animals.
We are also going to Disney world next month. Remember I told you I was meeting blogging friends soon? Well it's coming up soon. First stop N.C. then GA. then Fla. I'm so darn excited I can't stand it.
I was visiting one of your girls, Gabrielle. What a precious soul she is. Love her blog.
Just wanted to come and wish you a Happy Birthday. Hope your riding the tea cups with your babes.
Love Claudie
